History
The idea of Foundation of Contemporary Couture Art (FCCA) belongs to Alexander's Collection, a brand that has a unique place in the ultra luxury segment, and its founder Alex Sander.
Under the umbrella of the team of like-minded people, the project is supported by famous people who understand and appreciate the cultural heritage of the nation, who appreciate art of a different level, capable of being classified as museum exhibits.

History
The idea of establishing a special foundation came after more than 25 years of work in luxury segment of high-end interiors design, special decorative objects, collections of furniture, carpets and mosaics.
The experience over the years leads logically to the next stage: the setting up of an art gallery. However, when you have been dealing with high-end interiors for a lifetime, there is a standing question about the art objects that need to grace them and bring individuality to the space.
Selecting the art gallery direction and being well-versed in the craftsmanship of artisans who have preserved the ancient techniques of wood and bone carving, hand silk embroidery and inlaying with precious woods, the result is a quite unique idea and concept for such a gallery. In co-operation with selected artists for the first collection, works of art of such high level that could be rightfully placed in the expositions of the world's museums were born.
This is how the idea of a couture collection and, as a consequence, the idea of a separate trend in contemporary art - Contemporary Couture Art - was gradually crystallised, based on the revival of ancient crafts to develop contemporary art objects with no equal in the world.
This meant that there was a demand for a Foundation that could act as an analogy of high art in fashion (The Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture, now part of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode), but in the context of contemporary decorative art.
That's why the founder of this foundation is Alexander's Collection, a sponsor company with a lot of experience in making extra class decorative items, which has come a long way to such heights of craftsmanship on its own.

Art for Sale
As the foundation is dedicated to promoting and preserving endangered crafts and their application by artists to create unique haute couture works, this is our primary focus. However, by involving artists, celebrities, and world-renowned figures in our international projects and investing in new works, we are not only preserving them for history.
The foundation's second mission is to support artists financially, which means helping them with sales. Depending on the popularity of the creators, we use various channels and contacts for this purpose: auction houses, art galleries, private foundations, private museums, and much more, in line with our marketing policy.
